# Licenses and attribution

This bundle is intended for lawful offline redistribution. It contains no raster
tiles and was not made with `tile.openstreetmap.org` or any other public OSM
raster-tile service.

## Vector map data

The four PMTiles files are unmodified geographic extracts of the Protomaps
Basemap daily build `20260911.pmtiles`, tileset version `4.15.2`. Protomaps
distributes these tilesets as Produced Works of OpenStreetMap under the Open
Database License (ODbL) 1.0. OpenStreetMap attribution must remain visible when
the map is shown.

derive and publicly use a new database rather than redistributing this Produced
Work, review the ODbL share-alike requirements separately.

- Protomaps Basemap style `@protomaps/basemaps` 5.7.2: BSD-3-Clause, with
  CC0 visual design and MIT/Mapzen icon notices. Full text:

- MapLibre GL JS 6.9.0: BSD-3-Clause and bundled third-party notices. Full text:

- PMTiles JavaScript 4.5.0: BSD-3-Clause. Full text:

- Protomaps v4 light sprites: derivatives of the MIT-licensed Tangram/Mapzen
  icons; the copyright and MIT text are included in the Protomaps style license
  and data notices above.
- Noto Sans Regular, Medium and Italic glyph PBFs: SIL Open Font License 1.1.
  Full text: `licenses/Noto-Sans-OFL.txt`. Only ranges `0-255`, `256-511` and
  `8192-8447` are bundled, covering the Latin letters and punctuation requested
  by the tested Irish labels.

PMTiles is an open specification; `pmtiles` CLI 1.31.2 was used only as build
tooling and its executable is not included in this bundle.
